Extra-inning thriller favors the Evansville Otters, 7-5 winners over the Southern Illinois Miners

After seven lead changes in Thursday's game at Bosse Field, the Evansville Otters (12-5) finally pulled out a 7-5 win over the Southern Illinois Miners (9-9).

C.J. Henry was solid at the plate for the Evansville Otters. Henry went 3-5 and drove in one. He singled in the first and fifth innings and tripled in the eighth inning.

Eric Massingham improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Evansville Otters. Massingham struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Matthew Sergey was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
