Andrew Clark went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Evansville Otters (10-5) took home a 3-0 victory over the Southern Illinois Miners (9-7) in seven innings at Bosse Field on Wednesday.

The Southern Illinois Miners couldn't get anything going so long as Jason Ridenhour was on the hill. The Southern Illinois Miners managed just two hits off of Ridenhour, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Ken Gregory went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Southern Illinois Miners. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Scott Weismann got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Weismann struck out two, walked none and gave up two hits.

Brian Oliver was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
