Tillman Pugh had two extra base hits, sparking the Frontier Greys (3-2) to a 5-2 victory over the River City Rascals (3-2) on Wednesday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

He doubled in the third inning, singled in the first and seventh innings, and homered in the ninth inning.

Eric Wooten struck out seven hitters en route to the the Frontier Greys win. Wooten allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over seven innings.

Tommy Mendoza (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Frontier Greys were sparked by Tyler Kolodny and Pugh, who teamed up for seven hits and three RBIs.
