Seth Granger helped the Lake Erie Crushers pull ahead for the duration in the twelfth inning. After Daniel Bowman doubled, Granger singled, scoring Bowman.

Dan Eaton (0-1) took the loss for the Gateway Grizzlies (1-1). He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
