Garrett Mundell hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Mundell tossed a shutout to carry the Anchorage Bucs (5-1) to a 2-0 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (1-4) at Anchorage Alaska in seven innings.
The Anchorage Glacier Pilots couldn't get anything going so long as Mundell was on the hill. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just one hit off of Mundell, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out seven during his seven innings of work.
Mike Robards ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
