The Anchorage Bucs (20-15) didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Chugiak Chinooks (8-27) cruised to a blowout 8-2 win at Loretta French Field.

The Chugiak Chinooks scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Nicholas Covello and a two-run single by Griffin Gum.

Covello boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Chugiak Chinooks.

Andrew Klausmeier allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five over nine innings of work.
