David Edwards went 2-3, helping the Alaska Goldpanners (22-12) to a 6-2 victory over the Matsu Miners (19-15) on Friday at Growden Memorial Park.
He singled in the fifth inning.Ben Wylly had two extra-base hits for the Matsu Miners. He doubled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Michael Dingilian recorded his second win of the year for the Alaska Goldpanners. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered one hit.
Trevor Bettencourt (3-2) took the loss for the Matsu Miners. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out four.
