The Alaska Goldpanners (9-5) beat the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (10-10) 2-1 on Friday at Mulcahy Field behind Rick Reigner, who went 1-2.
He singled in the second inning.Nathan Bannister picked up the win for the Alaska Goldpanners. Bannister pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four.
Despite the loss, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Sean Buckle dominated the Alaska Goldpanners' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Buckle (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
