The Anchorage Bucs (9-4) beat the Matsu Miners (9-6) 4-0 in seven innings on Sunday at Mulcahy Field behind Lawton Langford, who went 1-3.
He tripled in the third inning.Andrew Boes brought the heat against the Matsu Miners during his outing. Boes gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Cody Ponce put together a nice outing. Ponce held the Anchorage Bucs hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Tyler Martin (0-1) took the loss for the Matsu Miners. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
