Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The York Revolution takes advantage of early error, beats the Camden Riversharks 5-4

Story by Narrative Science.

The York Revolution (19-18)'s four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 5-4 win over the Camden Riversharks (11-25) on Sunday at Campbells Field.

The York Revolution staved off the Camden Riversharks as the Camden Riversharks were unable to match the York Revolution down the stretch.

The Camden Riversharks scored four runs in the sixth on a two-run double by Raul Padron and a two-run single by Eduardo Perez. Unfortunately, the Camden Riversharks weren't able to take the lead back.

Andy Marte racked up three RBIs on one hit for the York Revolution. He homered in the first inning.

Corey Thurman improved to 3-5 on the year by picking up the win for the York Revolution. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits.

Ryan Kulik ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
