A walk-off error from Aaron Bates brought home the winning run for the Sugar Land Skeeters (3-0) in a 5-4 victory over the Long Island Ducks (0-3) in 11 innings at Constellation Field, Sugar Land on Saturday.

Bates did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Sugar Land Skeeters, reaching base two times. He singled in the fifth inning.

Roy Corcoran improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Connor Graham couldn't get it done on the bump for the Long Island Ducks, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
