The Brockton Rox (22-23) and the Seacoast Mavericks (21-28) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Brockton Rox that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 9-5 win at Campanelli Stadium.

Mitch Elliott got on base three times in the game for the Brockton Rox. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the third innings.

The Seacoast Mavericks' lineup had no answer for Daniel Roche. The Seacoast Mavericks managed just two hits off of the the Brockton Rox's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Ryan Coppinger reached base four times in the game for the Seacoast Mavericks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the seventh inning and tripled in the ninth inning.

Ty Sterner (2-5) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out six.
