The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (27-14) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Torrington Titans (17-23) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Vineyard Baseball Park.

The Torrington Titans took the lead in the ninth inning on an RBI single by Tim Bickford.

Brian Fay racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Torrington Titans. He homered in the third inning.

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks' lineup had no answer for Connor Landers. Landers held the Marthas Vineyard Sharks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

A bright spot for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks in the defeat was Jon Dunn, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Dunn (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher.
