The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (13-15) and the Brockton Rox (15-14) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Campanelli Stadium.

Jamill Moquete racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He doubled in the third inning.

Apolinar De la Cruz did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Brockton Rox, reaching base three times. He singled in the fifth inning.

David Montiverdi got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. Montiverdi struck out three, walked three and gave up four hits.

Daniel Osorio was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
