Both the North Shore Navigators (14-14) and the Pittsfield Suns (12-15) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the North Shore Navigators that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-5 win at Fraser Field.

Chris Carmain ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
