The North Shore Navigators (11-7) and the Seacoast Mavericks (9-11) both threatened with rallies, but it was the North Shore Navigators that eventually took advantage of them in a 2-1 win at Fraser Field.

Rob Cashel paced the North Shore Navigators at the plate. Cashel went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Despite the loss, the Seacoast Mavericks' Tim Holmes dominated the North Shore Navigators' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out nine.

Ryan Grant got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Grant struck out none, walked one and gave up two hits.

Brad Applin (2-1) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
