Nik Campero went 2-3, sparking the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (9-5) to a 4-2 victory in six innings over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (3-11) on Thursday at Vineyard Baseball Park.
He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.Alex Mastrianni improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered five hits.
Nick Filloramo was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
