The Torrington Titans (10-15) built an early lead against the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (8-15), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 6-2 win on Wednesday at Fuessenich Park.

The Torrington Titans were led by Casey Jones's hitting. Jones went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Matt Quintana recorded his first win of the year for the Torrington Titans. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Dalton Keck (0-4) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
