Calvin Graves went 1-1 as the North Shore Navigators (10-7) took home a 2-1 victory over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (13-7) at Fraser Field on Monday.
He singled in the first and fourth innings.Jake Brandenberger pitched lights out for the North Shore Navigators. Brandenberger held the Marthas Vineyard Sharks hitless over 4 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six.
Despite the loss, the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' John Cook dominated the North Shore Navigators' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Cook couldn't get it done on the bump for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks, taking a loss.
