The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (2-6) took home a 9-3 victory over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (4-5) on Thursday at The Ball Park, fueled by four runs in the ninth inning.

John Jennings led the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Michael Marshall picked up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Marshall pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out three.

Joey Royer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
