The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (8-13) and the Torrington Titans (10-13) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-4 win at Fuessenich Park.

Jamill Moquette put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Nick Filloramo struck out nine hitters en route to the the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs win. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.

Connor McKay racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Torrington Titans. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Hunter Engelhart was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
