A walk-off single from DJ Miller brought home the winning run for the D.C. Grays (22-18) in a 3-2 victory over the Baltimore Redbirds (21-16) at Hoy Field on Wednesday.

Miller reached base three times in the game for the D.C. Grays. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first and ninth innings.

Judson Sherrill had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the seventh inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Jacob Williams brought the heat against the Baltimore Redbirds during his outing. Williams held the Baltimore Redbirds hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Chris Nee recorded his fourth win of the year for the D.C. Grays. He allowed one run over one inning. Nee struck out two, walked two and gave up one hit.

Jack Geraghty ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
