Brendan Butler singled to get on base in the ninth. He then went from first to second on a single by Chris Henze.Williams had two extra-base hits for the Youses Orioles. He doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.
Shaun Rubin looked sharp on the mound. The Rockville Express managed just one hit off of the the Youses Orioles' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
The Rockville Express were led by a flawless day at the dish by Peter Bowles, who went 2-2 against the Youses Orioles' pitching. He singled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Bobby Ruse got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered no hits.
Robert Tatum was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
