LaMonte Wade Jr. went 1-1, helping the Baltimore Redbirds (3-0) to an 8-3 victory over the Vienna River Dogs (0-1) on Sunday at Calvert Hall HS.

Brandon Casas looked sharp on the mound. The Vienna River Dogs managed just two hits off of Casas, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Luke Willis got on base three times in the game for the Vienna River Dogs. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Jack Geraghty recorded his first win of the year for the Baltimore Redbirds. Geraghty struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Tyler Frazier (0-1) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
