The Marysville Goldsox took down the South Bay Storm (9-18) 7-1 on Saturday at Appeal-Democrat Park after slamming the South Bay Storm with four runs in the third inning.
Brad Lohse had an impressive outing against the South Bay Storm's lineup. The South Bay Storm managed just two hits off of the the Marysville Goldsox's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Chris Blanton had two extra-base hits for the South Bay Storm. He doubled in the first and third innings.
Nolan Atkins was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out two.
