Both the California Warriors and the South Bay Storm (8-14) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the California Warriors that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-1 win at San Francisco University.

Firenz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the California Warriors. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The South Bay Storm couldn't get anything going as long as Stahl was pitching. Stahl held the South Bay Storm hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Granoff got the win for the California Warriors. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Con Dempsey (0-2) took the loss for the South Bay Storm. He lasted just four innings, walked seven, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
