Zac Chuvala went 2-3, helping the Tri-Valley Bercovich (5-4) to a 5-1 victory over the South Bay Storm (5-10) on Saturday at Granada High School.

The Tri-Valley Bercovich relied on John Tierney to eat up innings en route to the win. Tierney allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Spencer Lamb looked sharp on the mound. The Tri-Valley Bercovich managed just three hits off of Lamb, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Izzy Behrman was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
