Pierre LePage collected three hits, sparking the Bourne Braves (13-6) to a 5-1 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (8-12) on Saturday at Lowell Park.
He tripled in the first inning and singled in the second innings.Turner Phelps struck out six hitters en route to the the Bourne Braves win. Phelps allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over six innings.
Despite the loss, the Cotuit Kettleers' Justin Grimm dominated the Bourne Braves' batters, giving up two runs and striking out eight.
Grimm couldn't get it done on the hill for the Cotuit Kettleers, taking a loss.
