Alex Dickerson went 1-3, helping the Wareham Gatemen (10-8) to a 5-1 victory over the Chatham Anglers (12-8) on Wednesday at Spillane Field.
He tripled in the third inning.Eric Pfisterer pitched lights out for the Wareham Gatemen. The Chatham Anglers managed just three hits off of Pfisterer, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his 6 2/3 innings of work.
Shawn Tolleson (1-1) took the loss for the Chatham Anglers. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
