Both the Wareham Gatemen (7-6) and the Falmouth Commodores (4-10) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Wareham Gatemen that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-4 win at Spillane Field.

Derek Dietrich racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Wareham Gatemen. He homered in the second innings.

The Wareham Gatemen got the win thanks in large part to Josh Mueller's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Mueller allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over five innings.

Ryan Jones was hot from the plate for the Falmouth Commodores. Jones went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second innings and doubled in the sixth innings.

Jordan Cooper couldn't get it done on the mound for the Falmouth Commodores, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
