An excellent effort by Aaron Meade lifted the Harwich Mariners (7-7) to a 1-0 win over the Brewster Whitecaps (4-7) on Tuesday at Stony Brook.

Meade's 12 strikeouts helped the Harwich Mariners to the victory. The Harwich Mariners' pitcher gave up just four hits over seven shutout innings.

Matt Lujan was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed one run.
