An ace performance by Turner Phelps spurred the Bourne Braves (4-4) to a 4-0 win over the Chatham Anglers (9-2) on Friday at Veterans Field.
Phelps struck out nine, paving the way for a the Bourne Braves win. The Bourne Braves' pitcher tossed six innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.
Cody Freeman had a hot bat for the Bourne Braves. Freeman went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.
