The Cotuit Kettleers (5-4) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (4-4) on Thursday.

While the Cotuit Kettleers led until the ninth inning, the Hyannis Harbor Hawks worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Casey Johnson.

Kevin Brandt got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered one hit.

Benjamin Rowen (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
