Brian Guinn went 1-3, sparking the Cotuit Kettleers (5-3) to a 2-0 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (2-5) on Wednesday at Arnie Allen Diamond.

The Cotuit Kettleers got the win thanks in large part to Chris Dwyer's dominant, nine-strikeout performance. The Cotuit Kettleers' pitcher gave up just three hits over five shutout innings.

Despite the loss, the Falmouth Commodores' Patrick Cooper dominated the Cotuit Kettleers' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.

Scott Lawson went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Falmouth Commodores. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Thomas Collier was charged with the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.
