Stefan Romero brought home the go-ahead run to give the Bourne Braves (2-2) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Bourne Braves hung on to beat the Falmouth Commodores (1-3) 4-2 on Tuesday.
Thomas Zebroski singled to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Pierre LePage. Finally, Romero came to the plate with the score tied at two in the seventh inning, and tripled, bringing home Zebroski.Romero had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.
Michael Dimock brought the heat against the Falmouth Commodores during his outing. The Falmouth Commodores managed just one hit off of Dimock, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Shane Farrell couldn't get it done on the hill for the Falmouth Commodores, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
Kyle Roller, Romero and LePage helped lead the Bourne Braves. They combined for seven hits and three RBIs.
