The Plugs and Sockets (10-3) shut the door early on the AA Brew Crew (1-11), capturing a 30-1 victory on Wednesday at :Firemens Field In Lindenhurst.

The game was decided quickly as the Plugs and Sockets exerted their will early with 30 runs in the first three innings.

An RBI single by Lauren Trezza and an RBI single by Lindsay Kuefner in the first inning and , a two-run double by Craig Riordan, a two-run single by Trezza, a sacrifice fly by Kuefner, a two-run single by Denise Salzman, an RBI single by Missy Greene, an RBI double by J.P. Petrillo, an RBI single by Jen Murphy, and a three-run home run by Brian Kuefner during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Plugs and Sockets.

Riordan had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits.

Rob Schwartz recorded his third win of the year for the Plugs and Sockets. He allowed one run over three innings. Schwartz struck out two, walked three and gave up two hits.

George Correa was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 30 runs in three innings, walked five and struck out none.

The Plugs and Sockets hammered the AA Brew Crew pitching as 10 hitters had a field day, combining for 25 hits, 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
