An impressive effort by Freddy Blaze led the Boozehounds (3-0) to an 11-8 win in seven innings over the Plugs and Sockets (2-1) on Wednesday at Bellport Field #2.

Blaze rocked the Plugs and Sockets with two home runs. Blaze went 3-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Blaze homered in the first and third innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 37 hits during the game.

Matt Petry racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Plugs and Sockets. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Eddy Cepeda recorded his first win for the Boozehounds even though he allowed eight runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked four and surrendered 18 hits.

Robert Schwartz (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 11 runs in seven innings, walked six and struck out none.
