A seven-run explosion in the second inning lifted the Ball Busters Castro (5-3) to an 11-3 win in seven innings over the Alcoballics at Levitt Field on Sunday.

nick smith was hot from the plate for the Ball Busters Castro. Smith went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

john castro improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Ball Busters Castro. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Castro struck out two, walked three and gave up seven hits.

jeff boeckel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out none.
