Landon Camp brought home the go-ahead run to give the San Angelo Colts (51-43) the lead in the eighth inning, as the San Angelo Colts hung on to beat the Fort Worth Cats (50-44) 4-2 on Sunday.
Cory Patton to start the eighth. He then went from first to second on a single by Salvador Paniagua. Finally, Camp came to the plate with the score tied at two, and doubled, scoring Patton and Paniagua.J.J. Sherrill racked up two RBIs on one hit for the San Angelo Colts. He homered in the first innings.
Erik Draxton got the win, running his season record to 5-1. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Steve Barnes (6-6) took the loss for the Fort Worth Cats. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
