The Quebec jump on the Vaughan early and coast to 12-0 win

Story by Narrative Science.

The Quebec (3-2) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Vaughan (4-2), recording a 12-0 victory on Saturday at BBoys Vaughan Grove one.

With five runs in the first three innings, the Quebec left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Olivier Lacharite in the first inning and a two-run double by Joey Mainville during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Quebec.

Lacharite racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the Quebec.

The Vaughan couldn't get anything going so long as Oscar Rodriguez was on the hill. Rodriguez gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out eight during his five innings of work.

Matthew Bondy couldn't get it done on the mound for the Vaughan, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked three and struck out seven.
