Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The York Revolution fend off the Long Island Ducks' late push, hold on 2-1

Story by Narrative Science.

The Long Island Ducks (52-54) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the York Revolution (56-50), and the Long Island Ducks lost 2-1 to the York Revolution after falling behind by two runs in the second inning.

The Long Island Ducks scored one run in the fourth on an RBI single by Ray Navarrete. Despite their efforts, the Long Island Ducks couldn't get over the hump.

Ryan Feierabend picked up the win for the York Revolution. Feierabend pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out four.

Bob Zimmermann ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his eighth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
