Manuel Mejia went 2-3, sparking the Sugar Land Skeeters (48-60) to a 5-2 victory in seven innings over the Lancaster Barnstormers (68-39) on Tuesday at Clipper Magazine.

Kelvin Villa's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Sugar Land Skeeters past the Lancaster Barnstormers. Villa allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks over five innings.

Mark Brackman was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
