Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Got The Runs (12-10) outscored the MJM (20-5) 14-13 in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 38 hits in the game.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the sixth, with seven lead changes.
The Got The Runs took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Genaro Cavasos scored Justin Holpin and gave the Got The Runs the lead for good.
Rob Kavander did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Got The Runs, reaching base five times. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the sixth inning.
The Got The Runs easily handled the MJM pitching as eight hitters combined for 17 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
