The Santa Barbara Foresters (7-1) beat the Seattle Studs (6-2) 6-2 on Saturday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium behind Zach Fish, who went 3-3 at the plate.

John Beck struck out 10 hitters en route to the the Santa Barbara Foresters win. Beck allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks over six innings.

Brady Steiger put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Seattle Studs. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the fourth and eighth innings.

David Benson (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
