The Santa Barbara Foresters' OHearn comes through in the clutch, upends the El Dorado Broncos, 2-1

Ryan OHearn brought home the go-ahead run to give the Santa Barbara Foresters (6-1) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Santa Barbara Foresters hung on to beat the El Dorado Broncos (4-2) 2-1 on Friday.

Robert Vickers singled to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a single by Austin Davidson. Finally, OHearn came to the plate with the score tied at one, and grounded out, bringing home Vickers.

Davidson was solid at the plate for the Santa Barbara Foresters. Davidson went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

The El Dorado Broncos' lineup had no answer for Cody Dickson. The El Dorado Broncos managed just two hits off of Dickson, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Brandon Faulkner was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the Santa Barbara Foresters batters and allowing two runs.

TJ McGreevy got the win, running his season record to 2-0. McGreevy struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Faulkner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
