A five-run explosion in the sixth inning spurred the Westcott (10-8) to a 9-1 win in seven innings over the RR Legion at Cardines Field on Sunday.

Anthony Pagano racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Westcott. He homered in the first inning, singled in the fourth and fifth innings, and doubled in the sixth inning.

David Hoey picked up the win for the Westcott. Hoey allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out one over six innings of work.

Jake Ferreira was hot from the plate for the RR Legion (9-9). Ferreira went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Karney Boff was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out six.
