The California Glory (24-16) and the San Francisco Seagulls (27-25) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the California Glory capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-4 win at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.

Tyler Helms got on base three times in the game for the San Francisco Seagulls. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Matt Fontaine recorded his fourth win of the year for the California Glory. He allowed four runs over 8 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered 11 hits.

Robert Silky was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
