Kris Koerper drove in the winning run to give the St. Joseph Mustangs (4-0) the lead in the eighth inning, as the St. Joseph Mustangs hung on to beat the El Dorado Broncos (3-1) 4-3 on Tuesday.

With the St. Joseph Mustangs trailing by one, Koerper came to the plate and reached on an error, scoring Kyle Simpson.

Mark Robinette had a hot bat for the St. Joseph Mustangs. Robinette went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Aaron Baker picked up the win for the St. Joseph Mustangs. Baker allowed no earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out five over nine innings of work.

Dakota McKaskle (1-1) took the loss for the El Dorado Broncos. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
