A great effort by Tommy Bush led the Nevada Griffons (3-1) to a 2-1 win in 16 innings over the San Diego Force on Sunday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Bush allowed no earned runs, three hits and three walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Adrian DeMar handled the Nevada Griffons' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. DeMar allowed no earned runs, four hits and no walks over eight innings.

A walk-off single by Matt Burns gave the Nevada Griffons the win.

Burns paced the Nevada Griffons at the plate. Burns went 1-6 and drove in one. He singled in the sixteenth inning.

Ron Johnson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nevada Griffons. Johnson struck out none, walked one and gave up two hits.

Bobby Orozco ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
