Ryan OHearn brought home the go-ahead run to give the Santa Barbara Foresters (2-0) the lead in the ninth inning, as the Santa Barbara Foresters hung on to beat the Casa Grande Cotton Kings (2-1) 4-2 on Friday.

Arby Fields to start the ninth. He then went from first to second on a single by Richy Pedroza. Finally, OHearn came to the plate with the score tied at two, and singled, plating Fields.

Shane Hoelscher led the Santa Barbara Foresters' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Cody Dickson baffled the Casa Grande Cotton Kings, striking out 11 batters. Dickson allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Albert Minnis got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Minnis struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Clinton Graham (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
